Fit of 66 exhaust trumpets

Hi all, just trying to find out some info about how far the exhaust trumpets should stick out of the rear valance of a 66. Any pics or links to pics would be appreciated.

See the attached.  No dimension on projection, but there is a dimension around the collar.  That will set the projection, if it's mounted concentric.
