  • There is no end to doing right. Giddyup!!!
Can anyone give me the part number and pics of the correct outside driver's mirror for my June 64, Dearborn built Mustang? The car had the "standard" 65 style when I bought it but I was wondering if it was correct of if it should be a Falcon "style" peice? Non - remote also. Thanks for any feedback.

  • If it does not fit, you need a bigger hammer!

It is my understanding any period Ford mirror would be correct.

Since the cars were delivered to the dealers without non- remote mirrors if ordered that way the dealers (in the early years) were left to  up sell to a more expensive or cheaper version depending on what they had in stock. I would suggest that for judging that you stay with the more common versions as some of the more "unusual" ones normally will get questioned

Of course if you have the original paperwork - go with it :)
