Front Bumper Date Code

Is there always a date code on the front bumper? Can't seem to find one on my bumper...

Yes on one of the smal tabs on the lower side/edge.

On the lower, left side end on a tab with the square hole. Mine (Oct 65 San Jose) is numbers only.
