replacing weather stripping
« on: July 26, 2013, 01:17:21 PM »
I have a 66 SJ built coupe and was wondering if anyone has a good technique for removing old weather stripping, trunk, around door openings, etc.  Any info will help.  Thanks..

I assume you don't plan to re-use.  If so, pull off the old and use something like mineral spirits to soften the old glue to get remaining pieces off.

Thanks Charles,

I kind of figured that would be the route to take. Appreciate it.
