Believe you will find that the inserts often changed color with age due to those being made of different material from the surrounding seat material.

On my monitor those inserts look closer to ivy gold

Guess we need to compare pictures (just for tint and tone) from the production year or within a couple of years to see how much the colors, tint or tones varied in those
