Instrument cluster finish 68 deluxe interior
« on: March 29, 2019, 07:15:48 PM »
Found my instrument cluster to be yellowish on the gauge chrome rings. The question is if it should be just silver/ chrome or gold as the rest of the nugget gold interior?

Chrome, like the rest of the dash pieces adjacent to them.

+1 "Chrome" vacuum "plating"/coating like the other surfaces. It wears off with age exposing the base plastic which yellows with exposure to the sun and elements

Maybe I shouldn't post it here as this is not a NOS-based restoration, but the result is pretty nice.

New instrument bezel and new lenses.
