Two tone blue interior
« on: April 16, 2013, 03:24:48 PM »
Greetings all,

What color should the headliner be in a 67 w/blue two tone interior?  My choices are Dark, medium and light blue.

Also, did the shades of blue on the factory interior parts, match as badly as the repop stuff does now?

Thanks,
Fran

I would call it super light blue.  The area behind the sail panels and under the overhead console were what I matched to.  The NPD version's "moonskin" is relatively close in style, but the color was way too dark IMO.  So it got painted.  If you need some specs on the paint send me a PM.

I am not sure about a 67 but I would say that the 68 two tone blue is medium blue. As a general rule the head liner matched the sun visors. I have some 68 blue sunvisors if you would like a picture. Marty

Thanks for the offers of help.  I think I have it worked out.  I have restored a few cars over the years and the non-black interiors are often the biggest pain in the a** of the whole restoration.

Thanks again,
Fran
