67 Heater control installation
« on: November 14, 2017, 10:15:37 AM »
How does the lower screws on the heater control panel (no AC) mount on the dash. I have some slots down there but no holes.
Thanks
Jack

I think you need 2 8-32x1/2” hex head bolts and nuts. Check out Jims hardware spreadsheet in the Library, along with the Osborn Assembly manual.

Thanks for the reply. Are you saying to screw the bolts through the slots?

IIRC the nut goes on the inside of the dash and the bolt goes up through the slots and threads into the nut. It is a challenge getting them to mate up if you have a fully installed interior. I think they went to a spring nut in 68.
