Strut Rods / Steering Stops Markings
« on: March 07, 2013, 07:14:10 AM »
My 1966 Metuchen Convertible with C-Code engine and C-4 Transmission with PS/AC.

Should there be any paint marks on the steering stops or strut rods?

Thanks in advance

LH steering stop typically has a red paint daub.  Strut rods usually have a yellow daub on the bottom, indicates orientation for installation.  There is a raised area cast into the end which also indicates bottom orientation.
