What Is This Bracket?

It's time to stump the forum - a new game I just invented. This bracket popped up in my box of parts and I'm not sure if it's a Mustang item or not. The two holes are 3/8 inch dia and 5/8 inch center to center; the large one is 11/16 inch dia. The angle is about 98 degrees. I first thought it was a choke cable mounting bracket, but the mounting holes don't seem to line up correctly. A solenoid bracket perhaps?

Almost looks like horn bracket off a GM...

I looks some what like a 67-68 air vent cable bracket but I do not think it is. Marty
