Here is a Canada version of the 4567S fuel pump dated 22A8A. Are these worth saving for rebuilding? Can this small block version with the crimped diaphram be rebuilt?

Interesting casting

Yes Fred is doing the crimped lower body pumps so IMHO yes keep if- even if you don't have it rebuilt right this moment

Every original gasket I've seen is white

I spent some time yesterday to recheck the gasket on my fuel pump, since I did not have reason to believe the pump was off the car. I took an exacto knife with a #16 blade and lightly scraped the gasket and black stuff came off it and the gasket showed as white. I then took some cleaner and wiped the gasket and it came clean to show it is indeed white. The gasket was just dirty.
So add another example to the list of original cars found white gaskets for the fuel pump.
And thanks for pointing this out to me, I would not have known it needed to be cleaned. I have not yet done a thorough cleaning on the engine since I bought the car ten years ago, but have plans on doing some cleaning later during this winter.
These are the finer points that I enjoy learning about to further validate to myself that this Mustang is indeed original and unrestored.

I included the last picture only because it captured the part number and date code (2 68) of one the fan belts. Of the belts that I have checked, they are all 2 68 dated.

Do we have a source for the white gaskets?  Or just make them?

They pop up on ebay frequently and are found in old gasket kits. Just use a sealer as they usually hard as a rock

+1 and the sealer should not be visible or something in a contrasting color
