Also Brian, I typically find them mounted farther to the RH side than that, but that is not a definite. If you are recreating how it was mounted on your car before restoration then I would have to say that there could always be an exception, I'm just going off memory, I can't say for certain that every one I have removed was farther right.
It is sorry a trick question . I couldn't resist. 67 and 68 yes they got them . 69/70 didn't get them . On many 69/70 Shelby's the sheet metal screw where the ground strap would mount was never filled with a sheet metal screw ;) .

HeeHee, thats cool Bob. Thanks for keeping me in line. The 67-68 also had the different 'S' shaped strap.

A quick search for ' hood cowl ' resulted in posting #4 by funky_selder ' cowl to hood bracket '.  Draw your own conclusions ?  Brian
