68 round based antenna
« on: October 24, 2012, 09:53:43 AM »
Hi, i have a round based antenna but after looking at some that claim they are original, i think mine is a replacement. Mine has a tube about half inch diameter, and about 10 inches long. The ones i see online have the wire starting directly below the base. Mine is fixed to the side of the tube maybe 2inches down.

I can take pics tomorrow if needed. i cant find ford on it anywhere. Looks more like a universal replacement as it has a slotted groove with a sliding coverplate, both plated steel with plenty of plastic parts...

Let me know what is a ccorrect replacement as this one is broken.

Cheers, Tim

Sounds like you've got the replacement for the PM300 which is not even correct style for 68. Drake makes a pretty nice repop for about $15
