Tail Light Wiring
« on: August 17, 2012, 03:53:27 PM »
I have a 66 Mustang GT that I show at the concours driven class. I would like to know if anyone has a photo that they could share showning me how the tail light wiring is suppose to be installed. At the last show I attended (Pensacola) I was deducted points for the following: Wire strap missing on T/L (Tail Light) wire, Incorrect nut on T/L bodies, Clamp missing T/L wiring. I'm not sure how to correct these discrepancies and need help. Thanks!!!

You've got a lot of questions on your car and the best solution is to get a set of Osborn Productions 1966 Mustang Assembly Manuals, especially the electrical. From those manuals you can determine what the judges were refering to. Correct hardware can for the most part be obtained from AMK products.

These things are pretty generic, but it would be helpful if you could provide the assembly plant and approximate time of assembly.
