Extra Cooling Package and Heavy Duty Battery
« on: June 14, 2012, 06:54:42 PM »
Hi Everyone,

My 69 came from factory with the extra cooling package and the heavy duty battery. Is someone know in details what are these options? I know that the radiator and the battery are bigger but what else? Fan, Alternator? ...

Thanks  :)

With a 351W, you would also have the fixed 5 blade fan as opposed to the fixed 4 blade.
Each of those fans used a particular spacer.
To maintain that group 27 battery, a bigger alternator would make sense.
I'm thinking 55 amp as opposed to the regular 42 amp.
Are you missing any of the extra cooling parts?

The extra heavy duty battery in this case would be a 27 F as stated. It would most likely get the 55 amp alternator and the mentioned fixed blade fan as well as the C8TF yellow marked regulator.
