1967 GT350 Dash Pad
« on: April 19, 2012, 11:26:38 AM »
I need to replace my original dash pad as it is warped and split. I would like to keep all replacement parts original. An original, nos dash pad is very hard to come by. I have found a couple of new ones. The sellers say their pads are very close to original. How important is it to have an original pad versus a new one? I will be showing the car but not in big shows. Also, if I found an nos pad what might a fair price be?

I cant remember the last time I saw a NOS 67 or 68 dash pad so the price would probably be ridiculous. Nice used ones are getting harder to come by but they can be found and usually go around $200

Do reproduction dash pads have FoMoCo engineering numbers cast into them? Does anyone know what the number sequence is?
