Dash pad restoration
« on: March 28, 2012, 11:17:28 PM »
Is it possible to restore a cracked and damaged dash pad.  I did some checking on line and see a few companies that specialize in this work.  Has anybody used such services or attempted the fix themselves.

I don't have any experience with restorers, but there are miracle-workers out there. The '69-'70 dashes always fail at the speaker grill, which would seem to be a tough repair. I went with a repro dash pad (black) and a high quality dye (red) and was very pleased with the results.
