1/4 window handle
« on: September 16, 2011, 02:06:17 PM »
The handle on the left is the reproduction.  All the other interior handle reproductions seemed very close.  This 1/4 window handle seems way off.  Anyone know if there is a better reproduction out there?  If this is as good as you can get I will keep it.

I can't really tell...do you know the manufacturer of the repro? I think you will likely find a couple different qualities out there.....might want to check with a Scott Drake vendor and ask??

Box says Classic Reproductions.  The picture on the Scott Drake website looks better but it has a disclaimer "Images are for reference only and may not be an accurate representation of actual product"  I'll have to call and find out.

All I know is that each Scott Drake part that I have is superior, 2 parts come to mind: '65-'66 Tail Light bezels, and the '65-'66 Woodgrain glove box door among many others.Good Luck!

I can't tell you from your picture, but we have had the brand that you pictured there, and I like the Scott Drake ones a bit better.  We handle the Drake brand currently and usually have them in stock unless there is a supply problem.  I have been very, very happy with all of the Drake inside door and window handles.

I finally got around to ordering the Scott Drake version from Brant.  Its definitely a whole lot nicer.  Figured I would post some side by side pictures for the record.  The Scott Drake one is on the left.
