Consensus on placement of 200 CI sticker on air cleaner '65
« on: March 03, 2012, 09:04:45 PM »
I've seen some conflicting info on where the Blue 200 Cubic Inches sticker goes on the air cleaner. I took pics before I stripped mine but I can't find them anywhere. So on a Oct '64 San Jose Build, where is the accepted placement for a concours build? Is the Autolite sticker required/acceptable?

Here is shot of my January '65 Dearborn original air cleaner.  The outline of the Autolite decal is visible near the horn while the "200" is at the opposite side.  There was no "Front" decal because "Front" is embossed in the metal and would have been redundant.  I can't speak to your SJ air cleaner but this may help.
