Topic: front strut rod suspension bushings

have a nos set of front suspension strut rubber bushings. they are painted yellow out of the box. Was the factory bushings painted yellow or is this a service thing. The car in question is a BB 3/69 dearborn 4sp car with small suspension Thanks Lu

What is the part number on the box? Sounds like the service kit D00Z-3A187-B. The insulators will also have engineering numbers on them.

I installed a set of service bushings and recall yellow paint also but only a daub, not entirely covered in paint

ok, did the facory bushing have yellow paint?

I don't think so. I have my originals somewhere. I'll take a look if I can locate them.
