Topic: Rear leaf springs - 69 GT500

What numbers would be stamped on the rear leaf springs on my 69 GT500 ?.................
My car was built on april 17th, the vin is 482093 the spring has the number s9ms5560A above that number they have the number 0739, Is that correct number?

Do they look like this?  Guessing they do.

so its a early 69, what color would the shocks be? does any one know where I can get a correct set? I have monroe shocks on it now,    thanks for the help

You have a couple of options to get you part way to your goal until or if you find the originals

1- Find a set of non- originals that are shaped like the originals - erase the markings, paint them white and apply the decal

2- Find a set of old (there are different shapes from different time periods) of Gabriel Stryders, paint them white and apply the decal

Unfortunately they (person supplying the picture) didn't label the picture with the part number

Does the 69 Illustrated Parts Catalog list them?
