anodized trim
« on: January 19, 2012, 02:15:50 PM »
I just purchased a bunch of NOS 67 - 70 parts, unfortunately some of it was stored in an outside crawl space, and some of the anodized coating on the trim has turned cloudy where it got damp. Does anyone know a way to save this ??? some of the parts are large ( specifically 67/68 rocker trim, 69 rocker trim, and some 69 and 70 hood lip mouldings)   Thank's in advance,..  John

You'll need to find a place that does anodize dipping.  You may be able to prep the parts yourself using oven cleaner to strip the original anodizing off.
