67 lower door hinge fix
« on: December 25, 2011, 03:42:07 PM »
One of my lower door hinges has a cracked rotating collar, see the picture.  Is this repairable, or should I look for a replacement? Thanks John

John those bushings are normal wear items. They are included in the complete hinge rebuild kits. It takes a little more time to replace all the parts but your door will work a lot better if you do. Marty

I looked quickly and only saw the pins in the kits - will look at the full kit. Thanks Marty. John

You will probably want to replace the pin anyway as they tend to wear.  Cant remember where I bought my kit but I had to cut the pins to the right size.  They were way too long for some reason, probably a one size fits all thing.
