I want to verify what the correct bolts are for the items that Shelby changed on the engine.

1966 GT350-

intake manifold-  original ford bolts painted blue?

valve cover-

oil pan-

exhaust headers-

others?

valve cover-RBW bolt,lock washer ,flat washer

oil pan-RBW

exhaust headers-typically rockford unless very early

The intake manifold bolts were reused by Shelby and were the OEM and should be painted blue.  Correct?

The RBW and Rockford bolts that came off of my valve covers and oil pan appear to be clear zinc or cad.  Is this correct?

Dan,intake are blue and scuffed because they are reused. Should also have the thin sealing washer. The valve cover and oil pan bolts would be cad or clear zinc. I can't vouch for the authinticity of the Rockford marked valve cover and oil pan bolts as I havn't seen enough conclusive evidence  as i have for the RBW marked ones being assemblyline. Still keeping a open mind.Bob

I sent mine off to be plated (cad), I'll get a few pics when I get them back.
My oil pan bolts had star washers on them too.  Is that consistent?

It seems to be. Bob
