I was digging through my stash of pulleys, and came across a pulley that I have not seen before. It is a 3-bolt, singe groove crank pulley, but it appears to have a reinforcement spot welded into it. The casting number is covered by the reinforcement. I compared it to a C5AE-A pulley that I have, which is shown in my books as a 289, including Hi-Po. The reinforced pulley is deeper, and slightly smaller in diameter than the C5AE-A pulley. Both pulleys have the centering ring that engages the balancer. I do not have an original Hi-Po in my shop now to compare, and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this?
