Another reason for the inquire is that I asked a while ago if the spare should be a styled steel wheel or a plain black. I was surprised to learn here, on the site, that it should be a styled wheel matching the wheels at the 4 corners. My initial assumption would have been that it would be a plain steel rim for the spare. The tire mounted on this wheel corresponds with the size for a big block GT, F70-14 Firestone. If this one is original and untouched then it should stand to reason that a plain rim could have been standard equipment as well (maybe later in the model year or at least at San Jose). I have an example of a spare tire F70-14 Firstone matching this one in model and brand out of a J code Dearborn convertible with an argent 8MF styled wheel. The only mark I found on the back of that one was the tiny silver paint daub. That's why the broad brown marks on the plain wheel surprise. Marty look at the wheel weight on the styled wheel as I noticed an elongated diamond shape imprinted with an M and a H.
