Has any one heard of ford using 66 GT grills on 1965 GT mustangs?

I haven't seen this done to my knoledge, however I have seen MANY both '65 and '66s (GTs) with their respective grilles-the 2 grilles themselves are different from '65 to '66

Can you please clairify what you are asking?

Sounds like the start of a new urban legend. It would have to be a very late car for the story to even have legs IMHO.

Got any more detailed information to clarify?
