Mixing Paint
« on: March 24, 2011, 02:58:30 PM »
What would be PPG, Du Pont, etc for a light blue interior on a '65 or '66 that I can give to the painter?
Thank you!

I believe that the light blue was Ditzler (PPG) #13004. The medium blue was #12989.

You can see my research table here:

Did you ever find a rattle can of the 13004 interior light blue?
I've bought 2 types, one from NPD and a Scott Drake L 5748 and both are almost silver.

Much of the interior paint is pretty transparent. For the charcoal grey I use a black primer and that works out very well. You may want to try some medium blue lacquer first. Marty
