Rear Tag Light

Does anyone know if there is there a source for a correct rear tag light with braided black tar cover?  I have a repro (which is incorrect) and original, but it's not up to concours standards. Thanks!

A decent original can be restored by re-plating the pieces and putting a new covering over the wire.  The asphalt cover can be bought online.

Only other option is NOS.

Thanks for the help. I think I'll look at having my original replated. I searched NPD and VA Mustang websites but wasn't able to find the covering.  Anyone know the part number for either vendor?
