1970 Mach1 Molding Clip Identification
« on: August 26, 2024, 04:50:10 PM »
Is anyone willing and able to help identify the clips labelled in the attached image?  I removed all of these clips from my '70 Mach 1, yet cannot remember the specific location/use of those labeled 2 and 3.

Clip #1 is used to attach the Mach1 moldings to the doors. Note the slotted stud feature.  I would appreciate any/all help on locating a source for these clips, as some of my originals are not usable.  Thus far I cannot find any clip for sale with the slotted feature

Clip #2  is much larger in size, and I no longer recall where these were used

Clip #3  are unique and  I no longer recall where these were used

Thanks!

#2 Looks like the one used for the 69 rocker molding at the front.
#3 Could be used in several places but the size would narrow it down. Hood lip or grill moldings? There is one kind of similar used on the tail light panel.

Honestly, I cannot recall many moldings on a Mach 1. Hood, grill, stone guard, Mach 1 side trim. The MPC did not show anything at quick glance.
