Can someone help with the vacuum modulator line routing?
My car is a 1967 289 base convertible with power steering as the only option. The brakes are manual and the car was built at the San Jose factory mid April of 1967.
The modulator line was missing when I received the car. I purchased a line from In Line tube that had a 180 loop on one end with a fitting that was not correct,
this was the only line they had listed for the 67 mustang 289. I purchased a second line from Classic tube that they said was for the 67 mustang 289 that was completely different than the first line and has piece of rubber vacuum tube on each end. This line seems more correct but I cannot figure out how it should be routed. It seems the only way it will reach the vacuum modulator valve is to run at an angle across the transmission.
