Is the Group 22 F Heavy Duty Battery still being produced ?  Is there any need/demand for the Group 22 Long Clamp ?  Brian

There are aftermarket 22F size batteries that might still be out there.  To the best of my knowledge, a correct reproduction was never made.

BTW, a 22F is not a heavy duty battery, 24F had that designation.

I don't think the Autolite 22F group battery has been produced since the 70's . There are none reproduced and sorry to say for all of us non in the works to be reproduced. The long clamp is not in demand because of that reason . A nice one was on ebay recently with the early tab . In fact all of the ones I have seen for sale in recent memory had the early tab which probably indicates how long ago they were discontinued. Unfortunately I have way more 22 group long hold downs then I do 22 batteries . Bob

My IDEA was just to keep my ORIGINAL one on the car, even though the tab is not needed.
