To add if after identifying by the method Charles suggested the bolts by size and thread you can find them in misc bolts that may have come from your car or other. If not then AMK sells them .

having a difficult time identifying specification  and then probably finding bolt to attach ground wire from battery to the front right(passenger side) of engine block.
The hardware required depends on year (I assume 1966), plant (it seems San Jose may have done things different), date of production (a running change), engine and transmission.
similar question on correct coarse threaded screw with hex top to attach ground wire to firewall.
This screw is standard, and is documented in the 1966 Mustang Electrical Assembly Manual (AM0013 pg 15 and 36 - same hardware, different engines).
The hardware spreadsheets in the library for 64 thru 66, have the required items listed by application - "WIRING GND,BATTERY-ENG,***(eng type) and "WIRING GND,ENGINE-FIREWALL@FIREWALL".
I recommend you get a set of the 1966 Mustang Assembly Manuals, plus the 1964-65 Chassis and 1965-65 Weld and sealant. They answer questions you haven't thought of yet.

Jim's spreadsheet lists the battery (neg) to block bolt as a 20350-S36.
The 66 Assy Manual (see attach) lists the bolt as an S8. The 67 Assy Manual does not show this bolt (see if you can find it for a 289).
The 67 390 lists the bolt as S8 in both the s/s and the Assy Manual.

Since resources do not agree, which is it on an unrestored car? My 65 FB engine shows no sign of the dichromate. This is a bit of an oddball bolt in its length and lack of markings so I don't believe it has been replaced.

Did you take the time to see what the reference document I used for this entry is? I list them all in the right hand column of the spreadsheet. The reference to 20350-S36 is in the "1966 Mustang Electrical Manual" (AM0013) pg 35.
You can thank me later.

And the picture shown in my previous post of "20350-S8" is from the "1965 Mustang Electrical Manual" Page E5-8601-5, which I should have noted.

I didn't have the 66 handy at the time of my previous post but it does show the 66 bolt as "20350-S36."

So 65 is S8, 66 is S36 and the same pic is not found in my copy of the 67 Electrical Assy Manual.

Actually, it is. Bolt 20350-S36 (along with lock washer 34393-S36) are on page 33 of the "1967 Mustang Electrical Manual" (AM0018).
