Adding some additional pictures that relate to the subject in the title

Fastback mounting clips

Closer look at the back side of fastback/sportroof side scoop and the bracket that the L shaped brackets shown above, slide into

Convertible mounting surface

Attaching screws at the front of the scoop

Another look along with an example of the sealant applied around the edges of the scoop

Since i?m at this point in assembly,  thought i grab a few shots of side scoop and screws.   I can?t verify if the screws in my photos are original but were in place in ?81 when i got the car and work well.   My understanding is backside of scoop wouldn?t have been painted.   The scoop mesh is Branda and likely not correct color.   Hope these might help the next guy.

I would just like to note, for the pictures that jeff posted . The third picture showing the convertable side scoop location.
The white line next to rubber duct is remnants of the double sided tape used to secure the scoops. And in addition, you can also see the clear silicone that was used.

For the fastbacks, if you go to Branda's site and click on the side scoops under fiberglass parts, at the bottom is a link to a disgram for the fiberglass bracket and the location of the clips as I call them.
