I?m still searching .

Thank you.

No longer looking.
Quality cores (no pits) can be sourced with a little perseverance and patience.
Thank you for your support.

I have a pretty nice pair,
they will even clean up much better if you spend a few minutes on them.
$175 for the pair
send me a private message if interested

not sure what your working on, but have other 68 stuff as well

Many people buy a repro and use the body as a donor and use the restored pigtail and studs to make it look new as well as original on the backside. Once installed in the fender with the sheet metal retainer on the back side it looks OEM.  That is if you want it new looking. It is hard to do that using another used body. More power to you if can locate a marker light housing that the trim on the outside looks as good as new or good enough for concours scrutineers.

Thank you for the information.
I?m reusing very good used socket and cable assys, and will be installing them in original quality pot metal housings that are being chromed.  (Quality cable assys are available. Housing assys take a little more effort to locate)
This keeps the factory markings with all quality finishes.
It?s a little more work and certainly cost, but the finished product very nice.

My goal is to use as much of the factory design parts, and restore them where possible.

I would be interested in knowing if you don't mind sharing what the going rate for rechroming the housing are as a pair or each . It has been many years since I have had to do that and have lost track on costs.
