What is Protex Treatment on an Export car?

Never seen this?

Here is Marti on a 67 export car
1969 Shelby GT350 convertible  4spd-AC built 1-27-69
1967 Mustang S-Code 4-speed built Jan 1967 non therm
1956 Ford F100 Big Window 392 Hemi

1961 Falcon 2 Door Station Wagon 302V8
2004 Mach 1 Azure Blue

Do you know what country the car was shipped to? Some years/plants it is listed on the buck tag

From the hip I guess it was a metal shipping or exterior protectant for harsh conditions or someone paid for extra protection for its ocean voyage

My ?67 fastback was exported to Belgium from new, on the Marti report it says it had Tectyl treatment. Is that the same as Protex or a different thing? and what exactly was Tectyl treatment?

I've never heard of "that", so I looked it up on duckduckgo dot com - nothing that related to undercoating (my initial thoughts) but the car is 57 years old and products "disappear" over time.
