1968 Mustang Turn Signal Switch Assy, Tilt Column
« on: April 10, 2023, 02:26:47 PM »
Wanted: 1968 Mustang Turn Signal Switch. (Tilt Column Application)
Searching for an NOS assy.

I was planning to use my original, but recently noticed that a contact pin showed signs of thermal stress.
I?m choosing not to use a reproduction assembly based not knowing the quality of the materials being used.
This is not an area to compromise on.

Thank you
Fran

The C8ZZ-13341-B service part was still available in 1975, when the last 1965-72 MPC was published.  That part was replaced by C8SZ-13341-B by the time the 1979 OSI manual was published.  I vaguely recall that there was a difference in one or two wire colors, but don't quote me on that.

Seems to be like the SHE-MAR branded reproductions.
Additional wire (or wires) for cruise control. The service part turn signal switches came from the Thunderbird car line.
Thunderbirds also had tilt swing away upper tilt knuckles, and shared the same turn signal switch wire connector.
