Source for reasonably close sticker repros
« on: April 03, 2011, 01:13:04 AM »
Compared the Osborn I bought some time ago to originals.. in most cases pretty average, in some not even close.

Anyone know of other alterantives that may be closer to OEM?

Looking for sets for 3 '68 San Jose cars; early S code convertible, early S code GT coupe and late C code CS/GT...

Nope.  Pricey stuff.... anyone know how good they are?  Willing to pay if its quality, but a lot for 3 sets (pushing $400) sight unseen....

Many are better IMHO than the run of the mill decals. NPD and Virgina Mustang (as well as others I'm sure) carry ECS also. Some of the ones they sell though will not be correct for your year and plant. The one that comes to mind is the battery inspection decal

And they don't sell the 390 air cleaner decal.  Not sure, but I'd hope the factoy ones were a bit better printing than the curent reporos I have.... maybe not...

I just replaced my battery OK decal and valve cover engine decal with ECS. The battery OK decal has much better adhesion than the homemade ones.

Only problem is that ECS does not make or supply a 67 NJ style decal :(

And the ECS one is not stamped correctly!

I gave you extra battery OK decals in your receipts folder.
