Correct Master Cylinder and Proportioning Valve

I am just starting the restoration of my fastback (VIN 5F09K303882)(Door Plate (63A 3 29J 23 8 5).  I'd like to know if the master cylinder and proportioning valve are correct and original.  The master cylinder is has two brass compression fittings and is stamp marked "618967 B (script) 6" and a casting number which might be the date code of "213".  The proportioning valve is marked "Kelsey Hayes 56653" with a date Code F-237-4".  Additionally, I do have a rubber brake pad indicating, "Disc Brakes" part number C5ZA-2454-A.  Is correct for my car?

Just to confirm - you do have disc brakes?   

If so is this the style of fitting attachment your describing?





As far as the date code. You can compare what you found to the information in an article on the subject located in the Library. Just go down the list under

-ConcoursMustang.com Official 65 Mustang Article List
- Then find the article titled - Date Codes - Decoding Date Codes   in the list

This will also help you get familiar with that section of the site

Sir,  Thank-you.   Yes, I have Kelsey Hayes disc brakes which all appear correct. I bought the car in August 1980 and drove it for 5 months. It had 9 K miles on the odometer and I thought that meant 109 K.   Since then it has been stored, inside and out.  A year ago, I started taking it  apart.  The first thing I saw was that the engine had no ridge ring and was exactly standard bore.  Everything points to a very low millage car.  Wish I knew that in 1980 or knew what it meant.  Numbers matching drive train.  The only things were traction bars, new cam and carb.  Working now with PA DMV to get information.  Last inspected in PA in 1976 before I bought it.  Now I have the money and time, if my employer allows.

For the brake pedal does it have the outer edge design that matches the green or the yellow arrow shown below?



Part number is correct just confirming the physical characteristics for your application
