Would Sept Oct of  68 build date for brake drums be too early for a June 69 built vehicle

Ten months by my count seems to be an extreme amount of time.  Sure many will suggest that its going to be difficult to see the date once installed but fully understand why some would still find this an important details and worth the effort. Of course what you have could also be seen as a stand in until you find ones with closer dates and they can be swapped out fairly easy
