'65 code F6 White Luxury Interior - Console Color?
« on: March 12, 2022, 04:42:20 PM »
On a '65 Mustang with interior code F6 (White Luxury trim with black appointments), would the console be black to match the carpet or would it be white to match the dash?  The console in the car is white and shows no indication of ever being any other color.  The full VIN of the car is 5F07A729870 if needed.
Too much junk, too little time.

It should be white to match the dash. And, depending on the car's build date, may have the glove box light turn on with the courtesy lights and mounted at the plate at the back (towards front of the car, early, same as 64) or turn on when the glove box door is flipped up, the light mounted on top of the box (same as 66).

Thanks, Jim.  If this is the original console for the car, it has the light that turns on when the console door is opened (contact is on top of the console).
