1969 B2 Water Pump
« on: November 23, 2021, 01:53:55 AM »
I have a June 27th 1969 Boss 302 build. Were the 1969 B2 Water Pumps date coded? If so, what casting numbers and date codes should I be looking for? I see there are different types of water pumps on eBay with the same casting number C8OE-D. Some have date codes and others do not.

I think the correct number for a 69 is a C8OE-D. There again, not specific for a boss except for the 6 vein rotor.

Not too sure about the date codes.

See if this helps, and you can always call Jack Brooks at Dead Nuts On too.

Agree that the part carried the C8OE-D engineering number on the tip of the pump behind the pulley flange. No date codes it appears only a possible cast number.

As mentioned the main body is somewhat generic and shared with allot of other engines - just the impeller difference
