Wire Harness Retainer clips
« on: March 20, 2021, 07:57:19 PM »
Hi I am missing the round retainer clip Item #8 on page 5 (drawing E0-115-1) of the Jim Osborn electrical assembly manual.  The (2) clips are mounted in holes located in front of the right shock tower and below the regulator.  The manual lists three part numbers.  383207-s, 38477-s, 383104-s.  Which part number is correct?  Does anyone reproduce these?  Alan

The manual lists three part numbers.  383207-s, 38477-s, 383104-s.  Which part number is correct?
Part number 383104-S is item 9, and does not apply. Your part number 38477-s is written 383477-S and is the standard clip with a wire capacity of 0.62 inch.
Part number 373207-S is for a "Regular Production Option" (R. P. O.) with a wire capacity of 1.0 inch.
The (2) clips are mounted in holes located in front of the right shock tower and below the regulator.
There are actually 4, two additional clips are on the underside of the right hand shock tower to firewall brace as item 8. Match them to the dimensions listed above.

Thanks for the feedback.  I have the 1" retainers.  I am looking for (2) of the .62 diameter retainers.  I believe its reproduced as AMK F-417.  Now I can't find a seller.   Alan

All four are the same. You apparently have the assembly manual, it's time to review it.
In any case, both types are available from AMK. Use the Ford Part Number on the AMK website to get the AMK stock number.

I don't need the two retaining clips under the shock tower support.  I just need the two as mentioned.  I used 383207-S since I had them.  Thanks for the feedback.
