Fastback Interior bracket finish
« on: February 19, 2021, 03:31:00 PM »
Hello all,

I am in the process of having my 67 S Code Fastback restored, I am sure it has been discussed before however for the life of me I cannot find and info regarding the paint finish of the brackets that secure the interior panels.
I am thinking semi gloss but want to keep the factory look.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks!

I believe semigloss black is what you want. The question is sprayed or dipped (I believe dipped is correct).

+1 on SG black, dipped or sprayed is fine.

See lots of restorations where these are painted body color, so nice to see someone do it the right way...
