Have seen and have pictures of early version stamped there but have others stamps at the outer surface of the ball joint cover area like the later cars. Only seen a few with that makers marking - rounded triangle with the D
These came off my February '68 GT-E. Rebuilding them for the second time. Last time was 25 years ago. Best I can tell they are original to the car. Both identical.
Any stamping out at the outside surface of the ball joint cover area? Two versions I've got pictures of have C6 and C4 stamped in the same location where you found yours
I believe the triangle with the D is the stampers logo or mark. I always guessed the C6 had something to do with the engineering number. Have seen many 67-69 style arms with those markings. I believe the cut back version has a different maybe C8 but can?t remember for sure. Have seen several stampings out on the outside area of the ball joint hump which is a date stamp. But not all have them from what I have seen.

Since I didn't see a year in the title, several of my 64-66 Upper A Arms are stamped with a triangle and "C4" on the underside, to the front if it was installed on the left side.Jim
