WANTED : Original or Copies of Accessory Instruction Sheets
« on: December 13, 2017, 04:43:44 AM »
In trying to complete my 1965-67 Ford Accessory Collection, I have found that I am missing several Instruction Sheets (I.S.). If you have no extra originals, I would prefer first a digital copy (jpeg or pdf), next a photocopy, and as a last resort a photo if neither of the previous options are available (it is very hard to take a picture directly overhead where all text and lines come out clear and sharp). Will pay a reasonable fee if necessary.
I am working toward creating an Article for our Library that will show the majority of Accessories that were available from Ford for 1965-67 Mustangs, including Catalog cuts, list prices, contents (if known), pictures of the actual Accessories, and copies of the original Instruction Sheets. Any help in providing the Instruction Sheets shown in the attached spreadsheet will be greatly appreciated,
Shown on the spreadsheet are the I.S. number, the Accessory, the Ford Part Number for the Accessory and the years (1965-67) for which it is applicable to Mustangs.
If you can be of help with any of these, please send a PM for my Email or Street Address.
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob,

Just to say that, even though I don't have any of the Instructions, etc. that you're looking for, I will keep an eye out.

Hi Bob,

Ray

Thank you both.
I have had 2 sets of the Ford Accessory Sill Plates over the years ; both purchased from my Ford Parts Department. One set I bought in the late 70's for my '66 ; the other in the mid 80's for my '67. While the Parts Books show that the Instruction sheet is part of the Kit, neither of mine had it. Go figure.

Not exactly what you are looking for but I bought a 69 front spoiler new in the eighties and still have the installation instructions showing Mustang and Cougar install.

Thanks for your Reply. I'm trying to stay within my 1965-68 "window". However, I am sure that there are those "out there" that would be interested in what you have. Possibly you could scan it and Post in the 1969-70 Section with the appropriate Title.

Thanks again,

Bob
