There is a thread about most of these parts that is labled San Jose so I wanted to verify if any may be different for a Dearborn car if thats possible. These parts came from one car which is a manual steering car one of my questions is about power steering tie rods are they different shape from a manual steering application ? Would the pink paint be typical for a manual steering center link ? The rusty complete tie rod assembly is not part of my research.
Would the black paint on the steering box be typical for a late 68 Dearborn also ? In the pic there is some black on the pitman arm IIRC these would be natural ?
Jeff, Bob, thanks for the responses. Would the pink assembly ID mark be applied all the way around the link and as wide as the remaining pink paint ?
Also only one outside tie rod has a witness mark of yellow paint would this be reppplied as a daub and used on both outer tie rods ?
