I hope that you find the NOS brackets but you may want to have plan B with used ones just in case  ;)

I just realized these brackets are date coded.
No longer searching for NOS, unless they are date coded.
Searching for used with date code for late 1968 Cobrajet GT500KR
Thank you.

A already proper date code is the way to go however FYI it is easy enough to add a proper date code to a used set with a little work .

The challenge I would find on these specific parts and adding/changing a date would be that they appear to have been date stamped before they were formed so gign to be a challenge to get a stamp in the corners/along the edge as shown below.

As far as determining  what date I need..
The brackets that are on the car are date coded, but these have “rewelded” from a collision repair.
They might be dated correct, but I really can’t pick out the date.
Part of the date stamping is also on the formed corner, which adds to my confusion.

Is there a simple decode for that stamping?
Thank you
Fran

Have you looked through the article on date codes in the Library as a start?

As see these are often not as clear as those stamped on flat sheet metal but the article would be a starting place
