Hood inner wing rubber bumpers - which way around?
« on: February 04, 2011, 12:00:22 PM »
Hi,

stupidly I removed my old ones and didnt note which way around they were! I have new ones to fit, and the front pair have one side with a ribbed finish where the other side is ssmooth.

These are the two butterfly shaped rubbers towards the front of each inner fender that the hood rests on.

Does anyone know if the ribbed side should be towards the engine bay (and visible) or towards the fender?

Thanks

Seen a lot of cars either way, but when I restore a car and don't know how they were on that particular car, I put the ribbed side to the fender.
