Can the "experts" weigh in here?  Was there a mustang classified as "GT" during the 1969 year??

Yes, my friend in Sweden owns one produced in early fall of 1968.

Yes an option with some drivetrains. Very unpopular except for R and Q code convertibles it seems. Likely since there was no Mach I package available and more (by percentage) new owners were loading the cars with everything they could
